We hope you are all staying well and coping in these difficult times.

Covid 19 is having a major impact on many industries and lives and the Travel industry is certainly not exempt. With countries around the World locked down and all travel suspended this has presented us with challenges we have never faced before but the travel industry is united and we will all get thru this together.

Port Macquarie Travel and Camden Haven Travel and Cruise have been operating for over 50 years and in this time we have encounted many Global and close to home challenges which have made us have to change some of the ways we interact and work with our clients. 

Currently Australian Government guidelines, in the best interest of the health of our team and our clients are requesting that we stay home wherever possible.  In line with these guidelines for the time being we are working behind closed doors but we will have a consultant in the office from 10am until 2pm Monday to Friday if you would like to contact us or make an appointment.  We will always be contactable in the usual manner by email or phone and we have listed these contact details below.

While the Travel Industry is in hibernation and we are on pause for booking holidays we are continuing to work on assisting all our clients with postponing and rescheduling their holidays. As you would appreciate the closing down of all travel around the world is a major event and happened very quickly. The process of postponing and changing bookings and also processing refunds is taking longer than usual under the current conditions with many wholesalers and airlines only bringing out policies a month or two out from travel departure dates and we need to go over these closely to make sure we are getting the best results for our clients.

Refunds are taking longer than normal to come back to our office and we are monitoring them every day so that we can get them back to you as soon as we receive them.  In normal circumstance refunds can take up to 12 weeks to be processed by the operator, however, in the current environment with the amount of bookings they being dealt with by the airlines, cruise companies and tour operators all at once their normal processes are significantly delayed.

Travel will come back one day soon and we are sure by then you will all be keen to escape isolation and explore Australia and the World again.
